Kenpo Karate is not a sport it is a scientific art where we are learning to protect ourselves in the event of an attack. Mr. David L. Smith is certified with the International Kenpo Karate Association and GL Kenpo Irish Kenpo Karate Federation. Mr. Smith started The Dragon’s Way School of Kenpo Inc in 1996. The current location was opened in 2001.

The Kenpo taught at our facility directly follows the Parker-Planas lineage of American Kenpo. Designed as a self-defense course for the modern era, American Kenpo can be done by anyone, and does not require gymnastic flexibility to achieve its goal. Brian Price has been training in the martial arts for thirty plus years. Mr. Price is well known for his ability to teach students from the youngest to the advanced student, as well as, other students from other systems.
